Summary

RS SO. QB for FLUN. Rare combination of size and traits. Unicorn tester. 1+ year starter. Unlimited ceiling QB with elite tools but needs position development in the form of improved decision making and consistent accuracy at all levels. Easy mover who is balanced in his drop and has a lightning quick/tight release. His production does not match his ability. As a passer, he is high variance. Does not yet excel at key QB traits. Decision making is average. Can identify the open first read early but infrequently gets through his progressions. Throw decision making also diminishes as the play develops. Tendency to drop his eyes in the face of pressure and is, at times, over reliant on his legs. Accuracy at all three levels is average. Flashes elite ability but too frequently misses ideal ball placement. Arm strength is excellent. Ball zips off his hand. Can fit tight window throws with ease. Struggles to take off velocity and provide a more catchable ball. Shows elite suddenness and movement skills to escape the pocket in the face of pressure. As a runner, he is rare. Exceptional combination of size, strength, and speed. Despite rare size, he still has the wiggle to make you miss in space. Can wear down defenders as a consistent ball carrier and hold up well. Has the ability to hit the home run with each carry. Overall, he is a rare-tool player for the QB position that has everything he needs to become a difference-maker at the NFL level but needs to improve the intricacies/intangible aspects of the QB position to reach his potential. His legs are going to buy him time to develop.

One Liner

Unlimited ceiling QB w/ unicorn physical tools but needs positional development including decision making & accuracy.
